Strategic Assistant, Operations

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and organize meetings, conferences, workshops, etc. for the Director. Prepare minutes and summaries of actions to be taken; tracking of progress on planned issues; follow-up with concern persons.
  • Conduct and ensure timely communication with stakeholders, government’s offices and BRAC Programmes.
  • Assist and perform in administrative activities whenever delegated by the Director.
  • Read and Analyze incoming letters, e-mails in order to determine their importance and plan their distribution.
  • Preparing presentations, proofreading, editing and drafting memos, briefs, circular etc.
  • Maintain e calendar regularly, checked attendance, visits to maintain transparency.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence/mails/packages etc.
  • Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the Director to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.
  • Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.



Educational Requirements:

  • BBA /Bachelor’s from any discipline


Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 02 Years’ experience as Admin officer/ Executive Assistant/ Strategic Assistant
