Position

Deputy Manager, Fundraising, Health Nutrition and Population Programme


Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Support HNPP’s project proposal and innovative project design development processes
  • Compile, customize and/or create content for standard RFP templates, capacity statements, presentations, and other proposal collateral as requested.
  • Act as the grant management focal from the programme
  • Support timely development of programmatic knowledge pieces and reports
  • Ensure existing donors and partners are sufficiently informed to maintain relationships
  • Contribute to and manage internal knowledge drive (consisting donor intelligence, programmatic write-ups, grant agreements, annual operational plans etc.)
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

Masters in Public Health/ International Development/ Economics/ Development Studies and other relevant subjects from any recognised university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirement:

At least 3-years’ experience of working in Development sector will get preference


Additional Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English
  • Knowledge on national and global health sector
  • Basic knowledge of log frame
  • Facilitation skills
  • Willingness for periodic field visits
