Manager, Digital Cluster, Microfinance Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Understand the startup landscape of Bangladesh today who are connecting to micro, cottage or small enterprises through digital platforms.
  • Explore opportunities for BRAC Microfinance to work together with these startup companies so that their customer base can have access to finance
  • Advocate BRAC Microfinance’s potential role in the startup community so that prospective partnerships can be built
  • Develop new products or services in collaboration that will be delivered through digital platforms
  • Work closely with programmes field operations team and other units, like client development or business development units, while building up digital systems
  • Develop a culture of data analytics, data driven decision making, alternative credit scoring etc. within the team
  • Represent BRAC Microfinance in different thought platforms of digital space
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.



Educational Requirements:

Bachelor in Business Administration/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics or equivalent from any reputed educational institute


Experience Requirement:

Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience in the digital unit of any organization
