Job Purpose
Aligning with the BRAC Education Programme (BEP) and BRAC's strategic goals, Manager/Deputy Manager, Educational Content Development, Quality and Training will focus on leading the development of innovative and effective teaching-learning materials, including project-based and play-based content. By integrating insights from various educational disciplines, the position ensures high-quality education in BRAC Academy schools. Additionally, the role spearheads special initiatives to enhance learning, with a strong emphasis on experiential learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the education quality system of BRAC Academy through innovating and improving teaching-learning materials for both teachers and students, assessment system in alignment with programme, national and global demand and standards.
- Lead execution of the project and play-based activities as an integral part of the curriculum and ensure optimum quality outcomes.
- To work with the design team to develop educational and capacity-building materials.
- Develop and implement capacity development initiatives for teachers and staff of BRAC Academy for better service delivery through innovative supportive supervision.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the developed materials, assessment and teaching methods by analysing test data, research findings, impact studies, school visits and feedback from management staff.
- Carry out detailed field observation on a regular basis to determine programme quality and provide feedback to relevant teams, staff to ensure quality education system and standards are maintained.
- Prepare and review different reports, proposals, concept notes etc. as per programme needs.
- Undertake, lead and deliver on special projects related to teaching-learning.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

- National curriculum and terminal competencies, SDG-4 and programme management especially in education management
- Formulating/preparing concept papers, reports, presentations on education/social development-related documents
- Sound knowledge of spreadsheet analysis

Educational Requirements
Graduation and post-graduation in Education Management/CurriculumExperience Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in education management which includes educational project development, quality, curriculum, materials, capacity development and other technical areas of education. Able to showcase a portfolio of educational and communication materials, concepts and projects will get the preference.Benefits
